Private Yoga Sessions:

Private Yoga sessions with Glimmer Yoga are approached from a therapeutic foundation, Yoga in this sense is is the professional application of the principles and practices of yoga (including but not limited to yoga postures (asana), breathing techniques, pranayama and meditation), and draws on the foundational aspects of functional anatomy, biomedical and psychological sciences to promote health and well-being within a therapeutic setting that involves personalised assessment, goal setting, lifestyle management. Glimmer Yoga, whilst not yet registered as a yoga therapy provider draws on these practices to deliver comprehensive and thoughtful private yoga sessions that help you to reach your health and wellbeing goals.

A one time initial consult and assessment must be completed prior to enrolling in further private yoga sessions.

Private sessions are available for couples at a discounted price, both participants must complete the initial consult and assessment prior to enrolling in further private yoga sessions.

Private yoga sessions may be booked as one off/follow up sessions or as a 6 session package. 6 session packages must be utilised within a 6 month window. The 6 month window commences from the date of your first session in the 6 week package, it does not start from the date of your initial consult (for example: You may do an initial assessment May 1 but not attend your first session of the 6 session package until June 1, in this case your package expires 6 months after 1 June on 1 December.) If you do not use all sessions within the 6 month window any unused sessions will be forfeited. We understand that in some circumstances you may need to request a change in dates, please advise us if there are circumstances impacting your ability to attend and this will be assessed on a case by case basis.

Seniors/Concession 15% discount applies across all 1-1 private yoga sessions(one off and 6 week packages) to Australian concession card holders with a current and valid concession card. For concession card holders making appointments for their child/children under 16years the 15% discount applies.

Seniors/Concession discount does not apply to: Private couples initial/intake sessions, follow up/as needs sessions or 6 session packages.

Seniors/Concession discount is not available for events, mini retreats, products or courses unless otherwise stated at the time of promotion.

Seniors discount can not be used in conjunction with any other discount codes.

Where a concession card holder makes an appointment for their child/children  (under the age of 16 to private yoga sessions), the discount applies. No other discounts are available at this stage for appointments for children.

Private Yoga sessions for children under 16 are available. One parent/carer must also be present at appointments for children. Private yoga for children are charged at the 1-1 rate. If you are seeking a consult, plan and sessions for yourself as well as your child you may choose to book the ‘couples’ pricing option. Please note if you choose to book the couples pricing for an appointment with your child your initial assessment for yourself and your child will be conducted in the same session together.

Private Yoga sessions are offered in a small, secure and cosy space in the heart of Bunbury, South West, Western Australia, please note our office is private however we share this space with other service providers so we ask that if you are attending your session in person that you respectfully and mindfully arrive and leave the venue. We do not have the capacity to accommodate children in this space whilst you attend your appointment, please do not bring children to your appointment (unless the appointment is for the child). If you are wanting to book an appointment for your child please see the T&C above.

Online sessions are also conducted from our safe and secure yoga space. You will need an internet connection and device with a camera and mic to participate in online sessions.

VIP Village discount applies only to those who have subscribed to the VIP Village email list. The VIP Village discount can be utilised for Glimmer Yoga events, mini retreats and courses when stipulated in promotional material. The VIP Village discount never expires unless Glimmer Yoga ceases to offer services. The VIP Village discount can not be utilised in conjunction with any other discount codes. The VIP Village discount code can not be utilised for private yoga 1-1, private yoga couples, private group/corporate programs, community bookings or products.

Private Yoga Intro Offer T&Cs.

Initial consult for 1-1 in person and online usually $120, with intro offer now $60. Initial consult for couples (2 people together at the same appointment) in person and online usually $180, with intro offer now $90. 6 session packages for 1-1 in person or online usually $480 ($80 per session) with intro offer now $384 ($64 per session). 6 session packages for couples in person or online usually $840 ($140 per session/$70 per person) with intro offer now $672 ($112 per session/$56 per person). No offer available for one off/as needs session pricing. Initial consult and plan must be completed before eligibility to book 6 session packages.

Corporate Yoga

Corporate Yoga bookings are tailored to meet the needs of your business or organisation. Pricing varies in line with our pricing structure and the specific tailored program. Corporate Yoga is currently available in the South West and Perth metropolitan regions of Western Australia, travel to regions outside of this zone will incur additional travel expenses.

Cancellation up to 28 days prior to the booking date will incur an administration fee only. Cancellation up to 7 days prior to the booking date will incur 50% of the total booking fee as a cancellation fee. Cancellation less that 7 days in advance are non-refundable. Fees are invoiced upon booking with payment required 14 days from the invoice date. We understand that circumstances change, if you need to re-schedule we are happy to accommodate your request on a case by case basis.

Workshops, Programs/courses, mini retreats, weekend retreats and special events:

All workshops, programs/course, mini retreats, retreats and special events are subject to demand therefore if capacity is not met they are subject to cancellation. Should an event be cancelled by the organiser, all purchases will be refunded. If you are unable to attend after purchasing, we are able to refund your purchase up to 14 days prior to the event date. After this time, all tickets are non-refundable however your ticket may be transferred to another attendee with notification in writing to hello@glimmeryoga.com Weekend retreat experiences will be subject to a separate and detailed set of Terms and Conditions and you will be provided with these at the time of your booking.

Inclement weather, venue and schedule changes:

In the case that an event, class, workshop or retreat must be cancelled due to weather or other emergencies we will communicate these changes through our social media channels and you will be emailed following the initial communications via social media. Your safety is a top priority. In the event of cancellation you will receive a refund.

Community Yoga:

From time to time Glimmer Yoga is invited to deliver yoga in community settings and schools, as part of our commitment to helping yoga to be accessible and inclusive we offer heavily discounted sessions for your community group, school (student centred, does not include teacher/corporate wellness programs and sessions) or at your community led event. Because each community request is different please reach out directly to ask about what we can do to support you. Requests will be considered on a case by case basis.

Giveaways:

To be eligible to enter glimmer yoga giveaways you must 1) Reside in Australia and/or New Zealand; 2) be over the age of 18yrs; 3) Be subscribed to the VIP village email list (note you may unsubscribe from this list at any time, however if you are not subscribed at the time of the giveaway, you will not be eligible to enter; 4) complete all steps listed in the giveaway i.e like and share a past. When you participate in any Glimmer Yoga offerings you agree, acknowledge and and consent to the following:

  • To engage in yoga sessions and personal practice.

  • I understand that a yoga practice is a complementary and holistic approach to my health, intended to work in collaboration with other medical and therapeutic interventions and allied health treatments.

  • I understand that a private yoga session is not intended to be a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment.

  • I understand that yoga, breath work & meditation includes physical movement as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress management and relief of muscular tension. As is the case with any activity such as these, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will cease or adjust the posture or technique and ask for support. Should my health condition change I agree to notify my yoga teacher/therapist during the course of my program/practice.

  • I agree to consult my health care professional with any questions or concerns before starting any exercise program. By signing the Glimmer Yoga waiver form you affirm you have your health care professionals approval to participate.

  • I agree to notify my yoga teacher/therapist of any medical conditions or physical limitations before class. If I am pregnant, become pregnant or I am post-natal or post-surgical I agree to notify my yoga teacher/therapist.

  • I understand that at times, my yoga teacher/therapist may use hands on assessment and/or adjustment techniques to support my practice, I am aware that my yoga therapist will always seek informed consent prior to undertaking any such hands on/touch based interventions or assessments.

  • I agree irrevocably to release and waive any claims that I have now or hereafter against Kerry Shaw and Glimmer Yoga.

  • I am aware that my yoga teacher, Kerry Shaw is a Yoga Therapist trainee and may consult with senior yoga therapists or other health professionals to support my therapeutic yoga goals and that my identity will remain confidential.

  • I understand that Glimmer Yoga is committed to complying with the Privacy Act (1998) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APSS). You may access your records at any time by making a request to your yoga therapist. We respect every client’s right to privacy. We will not release personally identifiable information about you without your permission, unless as described below the release is: To a provider, such as doctors, hospitals, and others who provide medical treatment and services to you, To a government or regulatory body, such as a law enforcement agency (for example, reports of imminent harm to self or others), or a court (for example, in response to a subpoena), or to a public health facility (for example, to report an infectious disease, i.e covid, tuberculosis etc), To an insurance company or another vendor (for example, the insurance company or companies that are responsible for paying your claims).

  • Before participating in any Glimmer Yoga offering you will be required to complete an intake form and waiver.

  • Private Yoga Sessions will include a more detailed assessment in order to support you to achieve your health and wellbeing goals.

Insurance:

Glimmer yoga holds Public Liability Insurance to cover all yoga related activity and offerings. In some cases you may be required to take out your own insurance, for example, travel insurance, in the event that you are travelling to attend a retreat would be your responsibility.

First Aid:

Your yoga practitioner holds a senior first aid with CPR certificate.
