I am Kerry Shaw the founder of Glimmer Yoga. Having bought into the hustle culture vibe and experiencing chronic pain, stress and burnout as a result, witnessing far too many people I love go through the same, I am now committed to my mission:

  • Courses help to deepen your knowledge and learning so that you gain a better understanding of the practice and are better equipped to apply what you learn to everyday life.

    Courses focus on nervous system support utilising the powerful tools of yin yoga, hatha yoga, myoyin (myofascial release combined with yin yoga), midfulness and meditation techniques and breathwork.

Private Yoga

  • Our Private Yoga sessions are offered 1-1 or come with a partner or friend and receive great savings. Private Yoga sessions are tailored to your unique needs and goals and are therapeutic in nature taking into account the whole self.

    Private yoga is available in person in the comfort of the Glimmer Yoga space, a safe and cosy Private Yoga Space in the heart of the Bunbury CDB, WA. If you don't live in the South West of Western Australia you can choose online. All sessions are conducted from the Glimmer Yoga Space to ensure confidentiality.

    At your first session you complete an initial health history and goals questionnaire, a postural and range of motion assessment and work with Kerry to develop a realistic and achievable plan. Your follow up sessions can be booked as needed or book a block of 6 sessions to honour your commitment to your yoga journey (discounts apply when you book 6 sessions, sessions must be used within a 3 month time frame).

    Private Yoga sessions are perfect for you if you are new to yoga, experiencing chronic symptoms (stress, anxiety, pain), recovering or rebuilding following an injury or just want to deepen your yoga practice and knowledge.

    Kerry specialises in working with the fascia to release myofascial pain through the practice of Myoyin yoga, fascia focused flows and nervous system support, which is intrinsically linked to our physical and emotional bodies. Exploring these practices in a private setting ensures you are able to take a deeper dive into understanding and empowering yourself to support your own nervous system in a safe and supported environment.
